Austin Small Business Server User Group (AUSSBSUG)

WHO WE ARE: The Austin Small Business Server User Group (AUSSBSUG) is made up primarily of independent Information Technology (IT) companies, which provide outsourced computer service and support to small businesses in the Austin, Texas and surrounding areas. We are platform agnostic, able to support a wide variety of hardware and software. However, the focus of this group is Microsoft's Small Business Server line of operating systems and any products that strengthen or support that type of infrastructure.

WHAT WE DO: The group was formed with the purpose of growing personal relationships between its various members, with the relatization that we all have our own strengths and weaknesses, and that there is plenty of work to pass around in Texas. We meet once a month, in an open, friendly environment to exchange best practices and discuss current and emerging technologies. Most months, the group welcomes a speaker/sponsor to present information on the latest trends and product offereings in the market.

WHEN WE DO IT: Our meetings are held on the last Friday of every month, with the exception of November (in observance of Thanksgiving / Black Friday) and December (when we have our annual Christmas party). We meet from 8:30AM until 10:30AM, although members are encouraged to continue discussions following the official meeting.

WHERE WE DO IT: Our group meets at the local Microsoft offices in Austin, Texas.
